While we're still doing our part to make all of the right sustainable choices, partnering with a second hand clothing company to help encourage our customers to give their purchases a second life was a no brainer. We've created a clothing brand infused with quality materials, and timeless in nature such that you can enjoy your ByAngela the Label items for years to come without significant wear, however, we also know how fast kids can grow and how difficult it can sometimes be to get more than a year out of their items.

 

Our solution was to partner with Canadian family owned and operated pre-loved clothing business, Beeja May (@beeja.may), on our kids line to give all of our quality kids clothing a second life once your child has outgrown it.

 

Our partnership means that once your child is done with their ByAngela The Label clothing pieces, you can reach out to Beeja May at hello@beejamay.com, who will then gladly assess the piece, and if deemed suitable for resale, will offer you up to 30% of their resale value as a buy out on the items.

Beeja May is a purpose-driven e-commerce business that offers pre-loved children's clothing and accessories. What makes them different from most traditional resale shops is that they offer tens of thousands of products with hundreds of daily new arrivals. Each item is curated and inspected for cleanliness, functionality and style, and customers can easily filter through their products by brand, age, size and more! 

 

Christine Trinh and Simon Tan, co-founders and parents to a headstrong toddler, started Beeja May in 2019 because they wanted to provide an easy and fun way for caregivers to shop pre-loved for their families. Beeja May started as a side hustle in 2019, when Christine was on maternity leave and couldn't find a convenient and easy way to shop. 

 

"We knew we wanted to shop used because, as parents, we had to find ways, big and small, to help alleviate climate change. We decided to create a solution that we would've loved to see in the market, and that's how Beeja May was born".

 

In 2020, the business started to gain traction, and both Christine and Simon left their corporate jobs to pursue their dreams of building a mission-driven company. What motivates them to continue is knowing that their business not only helps the planet but also helps parents and caregivers save money raising their families.
